We're coming up close to generating the last round and before I actually do that I would like to say a few things.
The first and foremost is thank you to all the teams for participating. During the course of this past week there could of come a time when all clubs could of stepped in and started a huge war inside this forum and I held back telling everyone thank you for not doing that not because of any other reason then sometimes when the wind kicks dust up in your eyes it makes no sense to do anything but stand back let the air clear and then look ahead.Thank you for all being kind and classy !!
During the course of these games quite a few captains have seen messages from me when they went to change their lineups and didn't realize that they had an individual in their club that was ranking in the top 20 of individuals. I would then remind them if they took their player out that it would affect them. Most of them chose to put their player back in immediately. I did not bring it up during the time Danscam was being brought back in because I felt he had enough pressure on him already from just the whole situation to then pour on more saying Look your captain would of been asked to put you back in by me anyways because at that time Danscam was top 11 player. Unfortunately he loss that game and it did move him back to position 29 but I did feel it was important to let you all know that had his captain NOT put him back in I would of brought it up anyways.
Not everything I say and do is in this forum because I treat each team as individuals at some point because they are so busy keeping their teams together. I look at stats all the time and so sometimes it just easier for me to say Hey do you realize? So with all of this said 3 things:
1. I implore all of the captains of these players listed below to make sure you play your players in the final round because they are not only playing as part of the team but they are in finals as Ranked Individuals.
2. You now see why I do not believe in splits. Line 14 Caker was hit with a split decision and you can see that doesn't work. If the point is not awarded to a player or taken from a player they might outrank those who didn't play or took a loss but that's why games have to be decided in a clear fashion of point or no point.
3. This was my last time scoring for winter / summer league and I have had a wonderful time getting to know all of you and to those that were nice ... thank you. To those that were mean - you are forgiven.
