Horizontal Wind

  How do you guys handle wind that is horizontal do you add or subtract yardage from the distance to the hole.

  Well, if you have to aim far left because the wind is coming from that direction, I guess you will be fighting the wind. Losing distance and also making the ball curve before getting to the green {making the ball travel further} I would add distance.

  Aren't all winds horizontal? If you mean from the side then sometimes I add a yard or two to make up the distance travelled but it depends on the situation. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

  Those winds are the worst, I hate em...   I'm not really sure, but off the Tee on Par3's I treat em like hitting with a tail wind.

  I'm still trying to work em out, I usually aim the shot and also miss the ding to the opposite direction of wind.
