  I was wondering what other members thought of having gimmies, like 2 feet and under to help speed the game up. not in tournaments though.

  while I understand the wish to speed up the game, gimmies are just that gimmies and are not part of the stroke play.

  If a stroke play game is sitting at say -3 each and you're on the 8th at Kiawah and your opponent has a 3 foot side putt. Would you give him that putt?  lol I wouldn't.
