I am pretty experienced so i feel a little stupid asking this question, but I just became a legend and my lvl 62 driver is not quite long enough. I am between buying the lvl 80 r9 now and w8ing for the lvl 88 r11 in 3 lvls. I am pretty accurate and do not mind fast meters so it is mostly distance that I am concerned about........ Any ideas???

If you have credits to burn, get the lvl 80 now and the 88 later. If not, just wait until lvl 88, that lvl 62 r9 is a great stick and doesnt give up much.

ok, cool. I do not have credits to burn unless I happen to win that gunslinger of urs (not likely with bollox competing). I was just wondering because playing with a couple fellow east coasters the 1 with the lvl 80 driver was outdriving the lvl 88 driver-using same ball. The r11 is rated at a slower meter and more accurate though......... I really hope I can get lvl 88 soon or i will run out of credits too fast without the ability to hit 300 off of every tee (my current avg is prob 285). My lvl 62 just seems like it is not long enuf for those back tees that I rammed myself into waay too early. I actually think I bumped at the same lvl as u RUNWME...    I am trying to hit the WGT jackpot here somewhere... My earnings are way too low for me to have extra (just ask the extra credits that I don't have). I only have 3,000 credits on my account so i cant throw half of them out...

The R9 is a good club though and will outdrive the R11 into a strong wind.

I use the R9, it's a very good driver! I have to admit though, there are about 3 or 4 drives where the R11 does make a big difference. Distance wise, there is not much if anything in it at all.

I would say, get the R9, you won't be sorry. I saw that you are only 3 level away from 88, but that could be a few weeks.

I have just reached lvl 88 and am getting the R11 (just saving my pocket money :-))

In my opinion, go with the level 80 R9. Both drivers are top quality, but i have found that the forgiveness of the R9 will keep you in the fairway more often if you miss the ding. The distance you get from this driver compared to the R11 is a wash!. Good luck.....

The R9 is longer than the R11 not by much and when I used the R9 driver my fairways hit average was around 75% hit . Using the R11 now and average is just under 80% hit over 3000 rounds played. I remember hitting off the tee with the R9 and thinking, thats a beauty ,only to see it roll on and into the rough on many occasions.Go for accuracy get the R11, it will pay off in the long run, IMHO.
