I cannot level up for some reason... others have worse scores than me, and they are pro's!
play each day , practice , go play in some tournament, play.... that's what I've been doing from october 8

You've got to play a few more ranked rounds, lower that average and it'll come.
You only have 12 ranked rounds so far. Like the others said, more ranked rounds and some better scores will advance you. Enjoy the game as much as you can. Have fun.
play the unlimited tourneys multiple times. you learn the courses, get more xp, rack up ranked rounds and have a shot a winning a few credits
