Mine.....is a "257 Yard Double-Eagle" on Hole #10 of "WGT's Famous Holes" course. It was about 9 yrs. ago...I was playing all (18) Holes of this Famous Holes Course...so I had just finished playing the Front 9. On Hole #10, I had about a 10 mph wind at my back, so I moved the dot on my ball to the top (for full forward roll - with wind at my back). My Tee shot landed just short of the "drainage ditch - that crosses the middle of the Fairway". My 2nd golf shot was using my 3 Wood (which I remember was only rated at 240 Yards). Again, I moved the dot on my ball to the top (to get full forward roll on my ball - with that 10 mph wind at my back). I watched my 2nd shot heading for the Green (it's a 2 tier green with the hole on the upper tier of that Green. Watched my ball roll and roll...onto the Green & up to the upper tier.....then, I heard this "clanging sound"...as I figured my ball went in the Hole & was rattling the Flagstick....in the hole for a 257 Yard "Double-Eagle". There never was a high camera angle that led me to believe my ball was going to go in the Hole. Back then, WGT allowed us to save at least (10) of our favorite golf shots...but not any longer. But I still remember.....probably NEVER will hit a lucky shot here on WGT like that one again.

I think I've been getting bored or at least less serious about WGT Golf lately...so, decided to "hammer" that Hole #10 at the "Famous Holes" Course the past few days. Came with inches a couple of inches of another "Double-Eagle" on that hole....but those shots are few and far between.  Picking up a bunch of "Eagles" though & mostly using "Starter Balls"...more challenging...on a couple of different WGT courses. Have hit (46) Eagles (June of 2023).....so, just trying to entertain myself.

If YOU have a FAVORITE WGT shot.....I'd like to hear about it.

    Best Regards,

    Jim (SoCalJim23)

Note: I just changed my FAVORITE WGT SHOT today.  I managed to Hit a 280.29 "Double-Eagle" on Hole #2 of the "Grand Slam Tournament".....using a WGT STARTER BALL. Well, I did have a tail wind...used my 3 Wood that's rated @ 250 Yds.

    St Andrews 18th hole .

Living a few miles away from the home of golf i have spent a few afternoons looking over this hole with a whiskey in my hand greeting the famous from the Russacks hotel as they cross the swilken bridge .

If you slice your drive you come up short of the road but near enough when the second shot appears to make out the old parked cars even though their number plates are blacked out .

I showed this to a relative who lives in the heart of the town and was surprised when he shouted out - that is my old ford escort parked .

So when i play this hole and nothing matters i deliberately try and dent his door .

Practice green at Colonial. Bombed a testy 3-footer. It was sneaky straight and uphill, but my nerves held and it found the bottom of the cup.:)

ps: Did I mention the crowd went wild ?

Craig.......Oh, I know that St. Andrew's Hole #18 all too well.  I have absolutely broken many car windows and probably some of those building windows on the right side of that fairway to"...LOL!  I "try" to always hit my drive down that right side (and hope I have a tail wind)...with really good balls...you can reach the Green from the Tee box by driving your ball down the right side of that fairway...don't like to be down right in front of that green hitting an approach shot...too many have rolled back down towards me.

106 foot putt tie-breaker. As expected, it broke right and left and right and left, looking forward and backward I came to the conclusion that I'm not moving the aimer off the hole. Not because I thought it could go in, but was using this as a reference of where to move the aimer next time.

Yep, click <heartbeat for 15 seconds, clunk>. Ironically, my longest "official" putt is still just 45 ft.

Grand Marnier and Courvoisier 50/50. Expensive but worth it.

And, for the record, made that shot more than once, in fact, too many to recall.

Used starter balls every time, just like Jim. (just sayin')

practice round at bethpage black hole #15. after hitting my 2nd shot towards the green i miss the hole long but the ridge brought me back to it within .5ft. i'll missed my very short putt by hitting the left edge of the hole but the backstop rolled it back right in the hole from 1.2ft above the hole lol.
