Cannot join a country club as already a member of one!

  There appears to be an issue with sending invites. I sent you one but it is not going through.

  This used to be the remedy that I'd propose. Pity if this has been deadfixed now :(

  Same issue here. I think I was auto-joined to one when I was first getting acquainted with the game and I received a message that I'd been removed. Now every time I try to join a club or create a new club I get a message that I'm already a member of a club and need to leave that one first. But nothing on the app or the website shows me belonging to a club.
