Bug with Skins Games (Real Money) - Warning?

  Last night, I played my first skins challenge against a guy. I'm not sure if there is a glitch he was able to exploit, or if I totally have no clue about skins games.

  We were playing 8 holes, 20 credits per skin.

  We player the first 3 holes and tied

  He won the 4th, so he got all those 4

  We tied the 5th hole

  We started playing the 6th hole...

  Then I got a notice that he disconected and I would be waiting until he reconnected - Within 1-15 seconds it popped up a notice that the game had ENDED and I had won 0 skins.

  I was confused at first, and just figured the game ended prematurely and I guess I lost my 4 skins (80 credits)

  I was a little pissed because I didn't get a chance to finish the 9 holed and win skins back, but meh -

  Then like a minute later, it took the remaining 5 or so skins/credits from my account?>>>>???? Like we had played it out and he won, but that is not what happened.

  I emailed support right away, gave them this exact story, and have not received a response yet, so I thought I would post here.

  Am I missing something? I have asked support to review this game, tell me if I'm totally confused or what. the credits isn't an issue - But I want to know if something it wrong, or if I dunno what the heck I'm doing?

  Thoughts/Ideas?

  There are definitely some issues still needing attention with Skins. I don't know what it is with WGT but it is the only website I ever get any issues from. Every day on 2 or 3 occasions I get randomly logged out for no good reason. It can be a couple of times within 5 minutes or 12 hours apart, there is no understanding or logic behind it.

  Normally it's not an issue but today playing a skins game it happened on the last hole twice in as many minutes. Both times I'm back in within seconds, however on this occasion I discover that I've been penalised a stroke for it and am therefore out of the equation for that last skin. All the more annoying is I'm 5 feet away for birdie and of the other 3 players only 1 made a birdie. Not only did it cost me but it cost two other players as well.

  HI Randy,

  First of all the credits to play ppl rip off.  WGT takes a huge %...if do the math been told by several players the credits earn, is not that much as WGT take a cut.  Also, read in other categories here, that gonna be a long weekend for WGT and WGTicon mentioned that.

  You might not get a response because of Thanksgiving, but usually they email me back with 48 hrs....if don't....re resend your email until they respond!!!!  I have too a couple of times to get an answer.

  hi thats weird:(. i hope you submitted a bug report so we can take a look. otherwise, i am not sure what can be done without it. -wgticon

  I just had a similar problem, I was playing skins, I had 3 or 4 skins and it said someone had disconnected and we would go back and wait for them to connect, instead it said the game was cancelled and that I had won 3 or 4 skins ( I can't remember for sure) I also had a putt for a skin on the hole we were playing. Then 15 minutes later WGT takes 270 plus 30 credits from my account for the skins game. 

   

  Also yesterday I was disconnected 3 times in a game and it came on that I had forfeited the match because I had disconnected 3 times. Total I lost over $5.00 plus any earnings for my skins.

   

  How do I bring this to someones attention so I can be reimbursed?

  Hey guys thanks for the information - @Lazegoose - That sounds a lot like what happened to me.

   

  Also another posted mentioned the "Rake" or "fee" WGT takes. It's not bad honestly - I actually work in the poker affiliate industry, and Rake is a normal things - The DOJ has really out a hurting on the Gambling Marketing this year, US guys have only a few choices to play, so I guess WGT is now helping me find a way to bet some $$$ :)

  Anyway, yeah I'm sure the holiday will keep the WGT guys busy which is all good.

  Ok great, just got an email back and it looks like this must have been a glitch/bug and they refunded the remaining skins. So great job by their management team.

  wgt.........it seems as the biggest problem comes when someone is disconnected...i had a few problems but only when someone is disconnected..
