    I know this is an ancient thread, but a couple of points.  I also find BPB on the whole easier than Kiawah.

    Often, a strange reaction to wind is triggered by imprecision in the clubs.  If you have a slight wind blowing left to right, and you have a low precision club, and the low precision causes it to start right, the wind will exaggerate the drift.  So, because of a low precision rating, a ding can still go off line, and if it heads off line with the wind, the wind will push it farther that way.

    Any hard course requires concentration* on EVERY shot.

    *One of MY largest shortfalls....beer not withstanding!
