Pure speculation, but the free rentals makes me wonder if WGT is trying to get us to buy clubs because new ones are on the way. Anyone else wondering about this?

well it allowed me to try some clubs that i was not sure of.  it sure beats buying stuff that does not suit you and the rental is too high.  they would sell more stuff imo if on the lower levels they had a more liberal approach to rental  clubs.  i bought several i was disappointed with after a few rounds in the past.  this time i actually traded up both the driver and clubs  as both new deals seem to have a tad more forgiveness to me .  i was gonna wait till i got to the r11  stuff but i probably have a few months to that .  i am older and my reflexes are in bad shape  grin.  the ones i sold were the g10 irons and the r9 8 1/2 driver.  the difference in my game has been 3 strokes better  as a newer master.  good luck and thanks wgt  striker

I have a sneaky suspicion also.   After everyone rents for free, likes then buys..........then boom....we see new stuff lmao.

Unreal. Speculating that the free rental was a precursor to new clubs? How about it was just a very good marketing ploy that surely raised income for them?

Newsflash, people. WGT will have more clubs in the future. There's still a few dot combinations left. I'm still waiting for the conspiracy thread that claims WGT sold altered goods and they don't work as good after you pay for them.  :-I

Don't get me wrong....... It was a brilliant idea,  win/win for both WGT and the players.

Just wouldn't be surprised if new clubs came out the very next weekend.

There will always be new clubs. For what level who can say. But for me right now the only way i would even think about buying any new clubs would be if they brought out clubs with R11 length, precision, and forgiveness with rapture meter speed but that will never happen.

Lol this post is funny.......Yeah the WGT warehouse is overstocked with clubs and they need to move them.

What WGT should do is let us try out some golfballs for a week to see how they roll, lol.  ;-)

Thanks for the free rentals, that was fun trying out ALL the clubs.

Within a month of them advertising the real r-11 irons they were here. I've seen the new ad for new G-10's. So, I'm guessing by Christmas or shortly after, they will be available.
