Improve Chipping and Pitching Modeling

    This is a great site and a great system. I think a much needed improvement is the modeling of pitch and chip shots. The physics does not match the ball reaction and leaves many shots well short that really should roll up closer. The modeling of the rough in this case seems to automatically kill any shot even though it most likely would bounce through. Just a thought and thank you for a great golf site! SJRD

    The first bounce needs to be on the fringe or green and swing with no less that 75% power. Lots of discussion about this-just search the forum topics. GL

    You should also consider that these courses are pretty much modeled to have characteristics similar to what would be present at a U.S Open or other Major tournament, not your local course on an early friday afternoon.

     

    Weather or not it's true to that is up for debate, but yeah it's meant to be difficult.
