Also, if you are on the fringe and putting, that is not on the green and doesn't count toward your GIR.
On the subject of On the Dance Floor awards, does anyone out there think this is easy? How are we expected to do that so many times to get the appropriate awards? Maybe its ok for 9, but for 18??? I have only done it once for 18 and yes, did get the award, but now I am expected to do it 24 more times just to get the bronze award? That is insane. I would expect maybe 5 times for the bronze, 10 for the silver, 20 for gold, 35 for platinum, 50 for crystal and 100 for diamond. At those award levels it would take me 20 years to go diamond, but at the current award levels it will take a good player hundreds of years!
While I am at it, what's up with the double-eagles award or the in the drink award levels? Those are impossible to accomplish in a lifetime. I think WGT should look into all the award levels and adjust them down a little bit.
