Like a lot of WGT players, I relate the actual game of golf on the course to the virtual game here. After Tiger's win last Sunday, I read Steve Stricker's comment about him in the newspaper. He said, " ... you could tell this time around, he's got even more confidence and more game. He feels even better about the direction he's headed." I don't know about you, but that pretty well sums up my WGT play. I'm getting more confidence & game and like the direction I'm heading.
The best scores I have made on the golf course (actual or virtual) are when my confidence is running high and my game is feels solid. Every drive is good, every approach is decent and every putt, if it doesn't go in, is very close. There certainly is a lot to learn here about the mechanics of the WGT game, but for me it's mostly about one's confidence in his or her's own game. Confidence & game feed off of each other. If you have them, your game will be headed in the right direction. I wish you a good dose of both.
