Ok so now that I have your attention and I'm sure most don't care and will flame me, but maybe this will help someone.

I quit this game out of frustration for almost a year, mostly due then to the very inconsistent play in the challenge matches where it seemed some games I was up against WGT and my opponent, but have recently returned and have played consistently for about the last month.

    Well I almost quit again.

When i came back and found 6 nice callaways in my bag I thought cool I will play them, and they were real sweet, and I loved them, so when they were gone I replaced them, but did I, the free ones were legend balls and I'm only a TM.

Played various different Callaways for a couple of weeks and man are they ever crap, they go all over the place with seldom consistent yardage ding or no ding.

If it wasn't for me returning to the gi3 d balls I was likely gone again.

I get easily frustrated when there is no consistency, I have thousands of rounds under my belt and if I ding a 7 iron I need to have some idea of how far it is going to travel plus or minus a few yards is fine, but when it's 20 30 and in 1 case 80 yards off I get frustrated.

Some games the callaways are fine, but some games they just have to much dispersion of yardage, 5 yards plus or minus in the challenges can be big and makes a huge difference if you are going to get that much needed birdie.

And I'm noticing this for my opponents also with their grumbling in the chat box.

Scrap the Callaways if you are finding them inconsistent.

    Hope this helps someone.

Did you try the S or Z balls?  The Burner 2 irons do seem to have trouble with the S ball, particularly distance inconsistencies as you described.   Try giving the Z a go, they seem to work much better.

I've been in a 3 or 4 week miss-the-ding-every-shot phase recently, in a 9 hole round I'll maybe hit it 6 or 7 times, usually while putting thankfully.  I played a fun game with someone the other night using Tour SD balls (zero feel) and hit the ding about 80%.  Go figure.

Has anyone had the sensation over the last few days that there playing with standard balls that have a cally logo on them.?

A few rounds i've had a lightning meter and some quite unexpected outcomes from ones I have managed to ding lmao.

I'm not complaining, just find it amusing!!

So the 413 ranked rounds is actually 4,013?

If you're shots are 20-30 yards off, you're doing it wrong.

I've played a couple rounds on here and I've never had a shot be 20-30 yrds off unless I forgot to change the club my caddy suggested when I had a 15mph+ tail or head wind.

80 yards off? Really? Come on man.

I used to play the S ball and never had those issues.

Yes, miss tery, something I also found amusing inre Calloways; starting out at George's yesterday with a brand new sleeve of Callo's and by the time I got to the turn, stepping up to the tee on #10, the first ball was gone. Replaced. Used up. No more. Expired. An ex-golf ball. After striking the damned thing 30 times. Now THAT was humorous.

i guess if people didnt have something to complain about all the time then they would actually have time for golf on here.

Scrap the Callaways if you are finding them inconsistent.

Or learn that the deviation increases when you use spin and miss the ding. That's the penalty for not hitting them right. Hit them right and there's nothing else here that compares.
