All of my forum posts with a link to Discord have broken.  It has been going on for months and has even effected posts going back to my starting in WGT.  I can put up a link to a scorecard or anything else and it may still be there for an hour, a day or a few days.  Then the link breaks.  I have had a ticket in with WGT going back to May request #7808325.  All requests for updates on status only get me a survey of how are we doing.  On the original request reply they stated it was a known issue and being worked on so I was not alone.  Any ideas on how to get this resolved?

    Thanks,

    -Jim

You could open a free account with IMGUR ( imgur.com ). You can upload your cards, pics, videos...whatever, to Imgur and post the Imgur link in the forum. As long as you do not delete your post on imgur, it will remain in the forum thread.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think even they have a lifespan.  If you go back to some older threads you will see the images have all disappeared.

The images disappear in the forum because the poster deleted them from their IMGUR.

I started to delete images I uploaded to IMGUR so I did not have a gazillion imgur pages to scroll through to find a pic. I stopped deleting them when I realized that when I did, they disappeared in the forum, replaced by a black image that said image removed or deleted (something like that).

Have you thought about creating some albums on imgur to categorize your pictures, Steff?

Well, first, that would entail the use of commons sense. Enough said on that....

Second, presuming that I did not consider making albums, if I did make albums, my images are so random, that would be a lot of albums to look through just to find the right album and then having to look through a whole bunch of images in that specific album.

Seems just as easy to keep all the images in one album  and scroll through a ton, thereby remembering, and reminiscing over, the ones I forgot about, and would not have remembered but for the fact that I had to scroll through so many to find the one I wanted. Sometimes, I even find pictures that I did not think I wanted but then decided I wanted, after having to scroll through so many to find I the one I wanted and decided I did not want, because of the one I found, that I did not know I wanted, but now want.

As far as opening another account I appreciate the suggestion.  I have not deleted the original  posts in Discord.  I run the ICT (Interclub Championship) for my club so being able to post rosters and results is needed. All of the posts I have linked in Telegram where we report our scores are still there.  It is only the WGT forum where the links break and I know WGT uses Discord for a lot of posts and discussions and so do the Country Clubs.  I think the most frustrating part of this is the lack of communication from WGT support.
