Game loading problem

  I’d also like to know. Since Nov 13th the app begins to open, to the point of the poised golfer and then shuts down. I’ve tried dozens of times & it is exactly the same each time

  Yup. Me too. Gets stuck on something like LOADING ASSETS.  It used to work fine on my iPad mini. I even deleted some apps, thinking it needed more power. Dead in the water now

  I erased every vestige of WGT/top golf from my computer. Nada. I get as far as downloading assets and it tells me the same old bullcrap, connectivity issues. I had an IT check my system, no problems, it's all on WGT's end. This has been the case since the November 5th so called update.

  Perhaps some part of the download is being blocked by your firewall/antivirus/security.

  Try booting into safe mode and running the game again.

  To boot into safe mode on Windows 11...

  1. Click taskbar start button.
  2. At the bottom right of the app menu click the power button.
  3. Hold down your shift key and click restart from the power button menu, then release your shift key.
  4. Allow your PC to restart then select Troubleshoot from the options.
  5. On the next screen select Advanced Options.
  6. On the next screen select Start Up Settings.
  7. On the next screen click Restart.
  8. On the next screen press the number on your keyboard that corresponds to Enable Safe Mode With Networking.

  Once you are up and running in safe mode try launching the game again.

  To get out of safe mode just reboot your PC.

  Have you had any luck yet ?  I have the same “downloading assets” message. It’s beyond frustrating. There is a post by Scott Hope in this thread where he suggests doing a reset. I tried it to no avail. I’m going to try it again in hopes I did something wrong !  Keep in touch

  I am using an Apple iPad mini.  It' an older model, so maybe it's just tired.

  Can you clear the cache of the WGT app on your iPad?

  I have deleted the Wgt app and removed all cache from my iPad. Even reloaded the Wgt app. Again I have the “Download assets “ issue. Cannot get on the game now.

  Previously I couldn’t complete four games tonight as the  game threw me out.

  Either won’t let me in, freezes, terribly slow and cannot send messages.

  Help….
