tourney start/stop times

  Who ever changed the start/stop time on Club tourneys, Please put them back the way they were. We are having too many members (me included) are being WD'd because we didn't know the times. Please put them back.

  Totally agree with this!

  Can't see why they would 'deliberately' change it like they have ..

  I live in the UK .. the owner of club (also from the UK) feels the same way to.... CHANGE IT BACK PLEASE!

  The club has members from various parts of the world, with many different time zones.

  Let people see the start finish times according to their own country / time zone.. PLEASE!!!!!

  Hmm…I thought just mine were messed up because of cookies related to recent travel outside my time zone.  Now, I see the times used are a wider problem.

  What time zone is being used?  At least then I could do my math and adjust my thinking.  But I haven’t seen a consistency to base calcs on.

  Help would be appreciated…..or a return to previous method by WGT would be even better.

  Ya , something is amiss with the Tourney times...I have lost 2 CC passes and XP's for the first game of the day when 18 hole Tourneys ended while playing

  WGT are aware of this 'issue' but do not bother much, to come into their own website forum to read messages and respond to them.

  They have however, responded to it on their discord channel, where is was also raised. They ain't done anything about it (yet) but they have at least acknowledged they are aware of it!

  Finding out stuff (that's actually useful) on discord, is a real challenge tho ..

  It is basically a chat forum where absolutely anything can be 'talked about'. Tons and tons of 'garbage' has to be trawled through on there, to find something helpful or informative that pertains to this golf game.

  Still 1000% more information and news from WGT than on here.  I'll give you that It does get out of hand sometimes with petty bickering back and forth, and off-topic discussions, but Discord isn't going anywhere, while these forums are slowly dying. 

  These forums used to suffer from the same issues before a few of the troublemakers were banned, (one in particular who replied/argued with every single topic/user and liked to post useless "trophies").

  I agree with you that Discord for WGT is there to stay.

  There is indeed more information to be found on discord, than in these forums on the WGT website forum pages, (but purely because that's where WGT want to provide it)!

  However, providing '1000% more information and news' is only a good thing if it can be found easily - and that is something that does not happen in there!!

  FINDING IT IS A CHALLENGE !

  Many many more people do not use it, than do... why is that? Do WGT actually care?

  The use of that place to ask for feedback on a certain matter recently - provided them with 'over 75 responses'. The reason they wanted to do it there and not include it in these forums was because it was 'required quickly' .. 75+ !!!! hahahaha ... 

  In my opinion, the reason these forums are dying is not due to lack of use - it is the lack of WGT staff willing or able to run and monitor it!

  The recent updates prompted a lot of correspondence in these forums - most of which were ignored and were not even replied to! 

   

  The 'petty bickering within their Discord Channel is pathetic in my opinion, but I accept there are  people who take pleasure is posting garbage just for the sake of it.

  Better 'control and structuring and monitoring' of the sections could and should be done. 

  There are so many sections in there (the intentions are good but do not work well).

  Many are not used for the right purposes,or monitored or managed, and often are 'hijacked' by those 'garbage makers'.

  It seems to me that WGT are unwilling or incapable of running a channel on discord with any real professionalism.

  Nothing is gonna change what WGT decide to do. It's just a shame they do not involve the players of the game more!

  Any anyone who says or thinks that WGT do .. are living in cuckoo land :)

  These are just my views and opinions.

  You should write WGT customer service an email laying out all your concerns and the  solutions you've come up with for them to implement.

  Or, just as easy, WGT mods can read it here in the forum if they so choose.

  Forums are not dying IMO, just on hiatus as too many of those who enjoyed posting do not post as much, as a result of all the BS and, at times, animosity, that manifests here. Discord is worse!
