Some of you will remember I am not an expert on technical stuff !  I am however thinking about buying an android tablet for a friend so they can play WGT, I gave my old mini iPad but it must be too old as the game keeps crashing. my question , possibly to Scott , but I welcome other advice , I don’t want to spend silly money , but is there a minimum requirement I should be looking for on an android device , in order to play WGT  ?
I have only ever used iPads , so know nothing about any other tablets . Thanks Lesley

Hi Lesley, whilst I appreciate the mention I'm probably not the person you need, I have only ever used one tablet for a very brief period and it was so far past it's use by date it was probably slower than me!

However, if I was in your position I might be tempted to look for a used device. Whatever your budget is, you are probably going to be able to get a device with better specifications that is maybe a year or two old, than you are a brand new one. The downside of buying secondhand is of course that you might get something that is not perfect.

As far as requirements go, I really don't know. Hopefully some tablet users will pop in with their experiences.

    Good luck!

I would suggest that  you go with a Samsung tablet that's in your price range

    Hi Lesley,

I bought a Lenovo Tab M10 (3rd Gen) (4GB 64GB) (Wifi) - Storm Grey last March and it's ideal for playing wgt.

Direct from the Lenovo shop at £126 with free p+p.

Hopefully, you should be able to get a similar deal in France.

    Good luck,

    Willie

Is it true of all android tablets that you can’t watch the videos for free credits , please . Or is it only true of Amazon tablets ? Thanks

I can watch the wgt videos okay on my Android tablet, as well as iPlayer, Netflix and Plex.

My wife and I don't even watch traditional TV anymore !.
