Courtesy of callaghan . ------- the red X is there when you join a game, Alt for example. This allows the person who set the game up to remove a person they wish not to play with. If I set a game of alt up and someone joins in that I know is one is typical of being a quitter I just click on the red X and the person is kicked out of the game before it starts.
