Jittery Video

  Have Dell I9 laptop with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. It's a beast. However, about every third time I open WGT, I get extreme jitter and lag. The only way to fix is to reinstall driver.

  Memory is 64GB with large SSD.

  Can't figure this one out. WGT support has no answers other than "it's not them".

  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  I'm not taking their side, but they're probably right on this one. If reinstalling the driver temporarily fixes the issue, it's likely a GPU driver or system conflict.

  Try using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to fully remove the driver before reinstalling the latest version.

  You might also try to disable Windows automatic driver updates to prevent it from overriding your installation.

  I agree with Simon, this is the first step.

   

  What is your refresh rate?

   

  A tip: Open the app via steam and see if it does the same.

   

  DDU is used in safe mode.
