They might be expensive, but people are going to rush out to buy them for the slower meter.  it was only the other week people were asking for a new set of clubs with slower meter, but these balls will at least bridge the gap for people who struggle with the R11's meter.

i played my first round with them just now, i managed to get my long iron to spin & roll slowly down the slope on St Andrews #2 just as efficient as if i was using my cleveland wedge.  Expensive they definitely are, but this hole alone made me see the benefits of them & especially the meter, brings R11's down to G10 speed.

(the meter is so much slower it keeps catching me out and i'm pressing to early.lol)

And don't be surprised now with the mixture of these balls & legend Cabo ready go we might see first score in the 40's lol

Well Chris, I am sure most people wouldn't mind the price if they had added a full dot in durability. Losing one may feel like a hot nail up ur a$$, lol.

Hmmm...so now those 3 dozen Legend Callys I bought last week are suddenly obsolete.

Who will be the first brave soul to play the "Best of Water" course with his/her $4.50 sleeve of new Nike balls?!

Well, I did a survey and got 450 credits, bought the Nike ball, not much difference in performance as the Callaway  slow meter OK, I am running on the Dragon, have game booster on meter is very very jerky don't know if the ball is the issue or something else.

OH don't play the front 9 at Congressional , because when you get to hole #7 the par 3 when your on the green you get a far far camera view and can't putt. It's  just a wild guess .

Got there with a -4 tried to guess hoping to get par. had to quit could not go on

WGT has forced the higher tier player into buying these balls to stay competitive. Esp for the Legend. I would like to see a game played between a Legend and a Tour Pro with the tour pro having the R11 and the new balls. It was only the balls that kept it reasonable. WGT knows that the Legend has invested a lot of time and money here. They know that friendships have been developed and it is both a social activity, it is also an escape for those who are pinned to their homes do to hours worked, money, kids or what have you. And yes, it is almost like a drug and for those who have been playing for years, they do not want to give up the edge.  So WGT knows they will pay eventually and once we are use to thee prices, things will be fine. So unless the upper tier pays the  bucks, get use to chasing the rabbit when playng the lower tiers. There is a huge difference sticking a shot at 180 than 140.  It would have been nice to keep the balls in the $3 range but made them available by tier, not levels again! I have spoke to a group out there that play AS games with each ither just to get leveled up. They play to tie and go extra holes for the points. Meanwhile, the rest work at their average to tier up. And look who gets rewarded! Not the level 54 master but the level 88 tour pro. But then again, if WGT rewarded Tiers, they would not sell as much. I guess it is a boohoo so the smart thing for at least me is to kick level 80s Tour Pros from the game. No more of me having to take the risky shot to keep up and end up out of bounds or wet.

View my replay and you will see why this ball is a quantum leap forward - I could never pull off this tee shot at Oakmont to set up an eagle chip - that went in. Enuf said!!
