  LMAO. I shoulda known, Jordan.  Now how about sharing the experience? I'm thinking of getting them for my son this Christmas. He hits Pro V1s and was just introduced to the newer Bridgestone equivalent, which he likes. Does the Nike compare?

  OK I HAVE  no life lol any way i did a quick study on  most of the BALLS wgt offers

   to us an  this is what i did went to KW COURSE front 9 one swing with 7mph cross wind 

  on every shot ya it took some doing a lot  of ree starts 

  FROM THE TOP 

  !)nike 20xi-x L 71  FOR 450 A SLEEVE 304 YARDS

  2) CALLWAY TOURIZ BALL L35 306 yards ( 350 crds)

  3) Callway tour -is ball   L33 300 yards for( 250 crds )

  4) TOUR- SD BALLS  288 YRDS

  5)GISD DOVE BALLS 300 YARDS

  6) G13 D WGT BALL FOR( 94 CRDS)  299 YARDS

  7) G-I-D  WGT BALL 291 YARDS 

  8) BXD WGT BALSS FOR( 10 CRDS)   297 YARDS

  9) UNLIMITED WGT BALLS FREE  LOL 299 YARD 

  10) G-13-S WGT BALLS FOR (99 CRDS)  281 YARDS

  SO YOU CAN SEE NOT TO MUCH DIFFERENCES IN  CALLWAYS AN NIKE JUST THE PRICE  AS FAR AS THE DISTANCE IS ANY WAY .

  Great shot and all but fact is Ive hit that same shot with Callaways countless times.

  Ive used these balls and they are on the same level as Callaways and some Bridgestone. I do find Nike balls a bit firmer than Callaways, which isnt great around the greens.

  Bottom line; NOTHING touches Pro-Vs. Thats why Pro-Vs here will carry a $6+ price tag for sure. However, to keep the differences in balls life-like, on WGT, Pro-Vs will have to fly 350 and spin back 30 yards.

  Thanks, gf, this is what I was looking for. The boy's current progress has him at a level where he can stick shots and it sounds like the Nike wouldn't be the best for this.

  The Nike is not a bad ball but, for the same money, the Taylor Penta ball is a better buy (compared to Pro-Vs). The Penta ball has alot of spin, feels pretty damn good, and is durable.

  The big chains like Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy, usually have last years Pro-V models for sale. Last years Pro-V still beats any other current non Pro-V.

  Ya, Golf Galaxy is where I'm headed. I think what I'm going to do is get him a dozen each of the Pro V1s, Bridgestones, Nikes and Callaways and let him figure it out. He got the CG 60 last year.  :-)

  I wouldnt buy the new NIKE balls after what I saw yesterday !! I played a round with somebody who did have the new NIKE balls and to my surprise....... I KEPT OUTDRIVING HIM ON ALMOST EVERY HOLE) !! LMAO If i didnt outdrive him I was only about 3 yrds short of his ball (using callaways Z) o ya did I mention I took his credits ?? LMAO what a joke this game has got to be!! :(
