    Richard4168:
Andyson, what makes you think I'm entitled to choose the number of feel dots on the Nike golf balls in the first place, are you for real?

Easy now fella,  I was merely referring to what you said......

    Richard4168:
For $4.50 a sleeve, shouldn't paying customers be given the opportunity to choose how many dots of feel they want on the Nike golf balls?

You need to find a hobby Andyson. If writing about something you see as a wrong in a golfing forum is all you have to do with your life, you must have a very boring life. You take this game way to serious.

In the end, I can give my opinion in the WGT forums all I want, and I don't need to explain myself to you or anyone else, or feel like I'm being interrogated in the process. If you don't like what I write, don't read it.

These aren't your forums to police Andyson.

No need for a personal attack Richard4168, you asked me a question and I answered it civilly IMO.

Looks like I'm not the only one taking things too seriously.

    Merry Christmas to you.

    Now, back on topic.

    TaterNater:
it's simple really.. wgt has to figure ways to make the elites credit hoards vanish so they will have to actually deposit money into their site... bottom line is they are only makin money when some1 deposits money... the 1's who live on here are the 1's who play and win all of the rg's ... therefore they have a stockpile built up, which means they live off another man's coin... that man which probably isnt here anymore  mind u....therefore no revenue is comin in....... it seems wgt's tactic is to try and put a dent if only a small 1 in the credit hoarders stash....they know  small fish so to speak wont be able to use them but they know the bigger 1's will .... just an observation but pretty close im sure....

I agree with your observation Tater. It seems a lot of people are requesting that WGT keep implementing superior equipment into the game for the Legend tier players.

    JaLaBar:

Not whining, just stating facts.  And I am glad I don't play in premium events anymore.

I never started playing here to win anything.  I started playing here because I enjoy playing video golf.  At one point, I was spending $20-30 a week here, more on weeks when I bought equipment.  But there are soo many inequities, and inconsistencies, and WGT is soo unresponsive to them, that it just isn't worth it to me.  Now, I buy a sleeve of i(s) regulars every 4 or 5 days.  I play a round of alt shot, or a random tourney, or just a practice to get my bonus, and I have fun.  My bonus today will get me to 90, but I've no intention of upgrading my irons, the Tour Burners 2.0 work just fine for my purposes.

I have given up hope that WGT will address what I see are major problems with the tier system and levels.  The fact that with level bump ups added, they made it even easier for lower tier players to get better equipment, which is only going to make it easier for sand-baggers and dual accounters is just so completely deaf to the voices of their customers it's mind-boggling.  So, I came to the conclusion that WGT wasn't worth the investment I was making.

Personally I agree with JaLaBar and have for a long time. Was getting ready to spend $50.00 on new R11's and the driver for my Christmas present to myself but have decided not to. Have tried since I have been here to do surveys but every single one says I don't qualify. After my credits run out I'll just relax by playing with the starter balls.

Why? You know (knew) you weren't going to win any money/credits here to speak of. That's not why you busted your rear to get to Legend. You busted your rear because it was a challenge, you love the game and it's the cheapest thing you can do for the amount of time you do it. And you were successful.

Now, in the face of a new challenge and an immensely more fun game, you're going to pack it in (sorta) and become some sort of plodding along Legend, getting run over by everybody? You're making a mistake, IMO. Spend the money to get those clubs. They will last you forever, if you chose, but better than that, all that work you did to get to Legend won't be for naught and you'll be hanging with the best, learning and playing up to them.

Do what Richard4168 and many others do. Feed the ball habit with the surveys. Even the little ones, done once a day as a routine, will keep you stocked. Use the cheaper SD spinners-the R11s work just great with them-better than what you have now.

Those clubs will serve you well, my friend. It will make this game more of a passion for you and keep the excitement in it. Don't cheat yourself. Merry Christmas.  :-)

You make some very good points Mr. Jim but after over a year of trying surveys and not getting thru is B/S. I have spent my own money playing this game because I am not good enough to compete in the RG;s to get credits back. And I have spent a bunch.

I don't feel like I'm cheating myself but the game and the direction it going is cheating me and others.

I have read everyone, well just about everyone of your posts and have learned so much by just reading. And one more thing to add to this, I remember when I had a problem and posted on your wall and you didn't hesitate to help me and I thank you for that. But now I think like others it's time either to stop playing for awhile and just enjoy life other than WGT.

I need to stop playing for awhile mainly because my baby needs new shoes.

Merry Xmas to you Mr. Jim and your family and Happy New Year.

I'll be thinking about all my friends here at WGT while I am sampling grannys 2012 medication.

Just simply couldn't agree more. Take this sound advice from Jim shiner. The surveys will payoff. Everyone who attempts a survey loses out from time to time. The credits are there for the taking, enjoy the game on WGT's dime for a change.

By the way, very cool bike shiner.

All I look for in a ball is performance and how it relates to my little game. Price is not a factor. So far, my first sleeve of the Nike ball, has not shown me anything more preferable to the Callaway. It seems to have some spooky distance reaction which I don't care for. But it is still just a test. Time will tell.
