This is definitely hilarious stuff!! A Master with a 175 score average? I shot a 106 in my very first round at WGT and even then I could give him 3 strokes each hole and still beat him by more than a 10-stroke margin..

    JuanMendoza:

    Nothing to do with honour?

    Gaming 20 years, 10 online.

EVERYTHING to do with honour and honesty. "Simply to advance faster" means "Simply to make an advantage over honest players".

The very fact that you think its ok speaks volumes. I see a lot of this *** in other games too, and similar attitudes.

The fact that you speak about "everything to do with honour" speaks volumes as well. Honour doesnt exist for anyone who can hide behind their screen, while beating anyone into a pulp, because they got advantages from, in this example, multiple accounts.

I do not consider it to be ok. But gaming for 20 yrs as well, 15 of which online, just make me aware of the fact, that everyone can talk "honour", "honesty" and fair play till the sun comes up. It will never change the fact that some people playing online, will use whatever means available, to get ahead of others. That includes preying on "weaker" opponents. By weaker I mean those who play "fair".

And to even think that anyone can change it by simply talk about honour, is naive.
I wish it werent so. But it is.

In every single online game I have played, there have always been the rotten apples of the batch. Those who will stop at nothing to  be the best. Sad but true. This is what I meant by "nothing to do with honour". You cant talk about honour to those who doesnt have honour.

A good answer and good to hear you wish for more honour, Chip!

"He who wins be false means, simply wins a false sense of achievement"

"There is no real glory in dishonest gain"

Once again, it's all about your friends list. Forget the cheats and shysters, those using software and showing the world how great they are with multi accounts.

    They are life's losers.

Plenty of good people on this site and that includes some of the elite players.

As for the swines, they should be ashamed of themselves. Forget them, they are nothing.

To be fair, it is game for patient, intelligent and persevering players, so anyone who doesn't tick all those checkboxes will get very frustrated and look for other ways to improve their average scores, etc.
