  One of our members made an error in creating a Premium Tourney for our club.

   

  He wanted a Top 3 Payout. 
  Unfortunately as CC owner we can not delete or ammend this tourney.

   

  The payout is shown as 'Top Scores'

   

  In the WGT Help section for CC Tourament payouts there is this:

   

  the tournament says Payout Method is Top Scores

  yet there is no 'Top Scores' payout

  Is this how they word Winner Take All??

   

   

  What are the payout rules for a pay-to-enter tournament?

  WGT will pay out 80% of the total purse to the winners of each tournament.

  The club member who creates the tournament has a couple options for the payout rules. They are:

  Winner Take All: The Entrant who comes in first place will win the entire purse.

  Top 3: 1st Place: 55% of the purse, 2nd Place: 30% of the purse 3rd Place: 15% of the purse

  Top 10: 1st - 10th place will receive a payout in the following percentages: 40%, 20%, 10%, 9%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, 1%

  So, Which of these three payouts is a 'Top Scores' payout.

  There is no reflection of the term 'top scores' here.

  I've never seen a Top Scores pay out in CC Tourney.  I think, if it did pay out like a Top Scores out, it would more or less amount to the same as a Top 3 anyway as the biggest prizes go to the top 3 players...pretty slim pickin's after that.

  So it doesn't happen again, this might be a good time to send a message directly to Icon or to WGT customer service (see Contact) below.

  The member is saying that it is a Winner Takes All payout, perhaps on HIS screen as the tournement creator, this is what he sees.
  As CC owner I dont see that, or have any other options available to me.

  - The lack of adequate description of what a 'Top Scores' payout is?

  I see what you mean now...you are talking about Top Scores listed on the leader board.  Yes, we have a tournament in our CC that is listed exactly that way as well with the Pay out listed as Top 3 on the intro board.  I believe "Top Scores" in that case means the Top 3 places win a prize.  In other words, there is no problem.

  I posted the pic because you had never seen Top Scores payout.

   

  I have emailed WGT on several issues several times.

  This is not a glitch, its a part of the BETA game.

  It has been there for  along time.

   

  Usually WGTicon is quicker to respnd than WGT emails as he lurks the threads.

  this 'glitch' is a part of a plethora of many that CC options are lacking.

   

  I was looking for what of the three types of payouts does 'Top Scores' refer to.

  thats all.

  The only CC Tourney Payouts are Winner Take All, Top 3, or Top 10.  If you forget to choose one, it defaults to Winner Take All.  If you access the CC Tourneys from the Game Client and click on Payout for a particular tournament, it will show the payout structure for that tourney.

  All CC Tourney Payout methods are "Top Scores", it is not a specific designation.

  Thanks for that, yep it is on '1St Place Payout 100%'
  Shame this is the oNLY place they payout is actually SHOWN though.

  well,

  as far as I know, there are 3 payout options and top scores likely means best score gets it all. there there are top3 and top 10?

  also, as far as I know, we cannot adjust the settings nor adjust payouts, so I recommend to wait until it runs out and re-do it.

  those who entered, are likely will have to wait for payout based on those settings.
