There's an even faster way. I'm a keyboard-centric person, avoiding contact with the mouse as much as possible. For this reason, I prefer the Opera browser as one that is the most keyboard-friendly one out of all browsers. (Also the fastest browser, I might add.) Quality product of Norway.
You can surf the web in Opera in lightning speed using your keyboard only; there are the fantastic SHIFT+ARROW keyboard shortcuts, for example, allowing you to navigate between links on a webpage much faster than one might do with a mouse.
And, to open any bookmark, you can set up a keyboard shortcut. My own setup is the F1 key to activate bookmark selection: and then you only need to press one more key to open any of your bookmarks. If you, for example, set up the letter W for the Active Topics overview in this forum, then all you need to do in Opera is to press the F1 key, followed by the W key, and – presto! – the Active Topics webpage is already opening. That's much faster than fumbling around with your mouse, trying to select a specific item in a bookmarks collection.
