Played twice St.Andrew's full 18.  Finished both back to back at 66....Average didn't move/drop.  Just played Best of WGT 9 holes, finished -4, average drop to from 63.45 to 63.38.   Why didn't it drop after the back to back 66 scores from Andrew's?

Your average is like a one-way door.  If your score is above your average it won't budge.  If it's below it will eventually go down.

9 hole scores are doubled; -4 on Best Of counts as 64, according to the WGT system. Your "score average" is really the average of only your best scores, ever, at your tier... 66 is no longer good enough to be one of your best scores (but 32 is).

Correction:  Actually, that pair of 66's could have lowered your average, but only if they replaced two higher scores among your last 10 best scores.

Not the last 10, but the last 30 or 40 (which ever is required by his current Tier).
