I have just purchased the top level cleveland wedges and i want to work hard on practicing the differant approach shots, i.e. pitch, chip, flop etc from around the greens so that i can get the differant distances worked out etc.

What i am looking for is my fellow members suggestions for a relatively flat green so that i can get a good baseline figure on a flat green.

Kind Regards and many thanks in advance,

    -Steve

Can't get flatter than No.9 at St A

Have a look at this replay from camera 3 for a good view of it -

Great shot there Disloid, so so close.

It definately looks flat enough to be ideal for my practice sessions. I'll also check out the 1st at Kiawah as well.

Thank you to both of you.

Beth Page has multiple flat greens to practice on. #2 back pin, #3 back pin, #4 back pin, #6 front pin, #9 either pin should work.

If you don't know this and just want to play just one hole... At the top of page click 'Wgt Comunity' then click 'Golf Courses'. Choose a golf course and then choose any hole you like to play

    Cheers

One of the best ways to learn your shots is in CTTHs. There are so many of them and they all use different shots. They're fast, easy ways to get repetitive scenarios. Find one that has what you want and play it over and over, even if it's just the first 2 or 3 shots. You learn real quick.

Hey there YJ, thank you for your advice mate, it's gratefully received as i fully respect you as a player and what you've achieved and as a forum member who gives honest advice when asked.

I hadn't actually thought about the CTTH as a way of improving my shot making skills so I'll definitely give that a go and see how i get on.
