The big challenge so far is getting those long irons close enough for birdie. Downhill putting on legend greens and the way side-hill putts tend to break will be an ongoing test.
It has given me some incentive to keep working on my game.
Here's a small tip, if you call it that...lol. Tourny Speed green doesn't worry me, but I had heaps of trouble with side hill swings on the green.
So I started playing my most hated course...lol.... Oakmont. The greens there have the worse rolls on Wgt, I think. After quite a few games and shocking scores...lol... I do alright now. I think, If you can handle the rolls at Oakmont you can handle the rolls on any course (even St.Andys 2nd) .Although I'm still shooting bad scores at Oak, but my putting can be deadly.
