  My opinion at this point is that if the ball does not go in water, then WGT has stolen the cost of a ball from me if they deem it lost because it landed in bushes.

  If you hit a ball into a thicket of gorse on a Scottish course, you really aren't going to see it again. Equating out-of-bounds with a lost ball on all occasion is dubious, but a lost ball in the bushes is entirely realistic.

  So when a player hits a ball into heavy brush/bushes you are going to be able to find it? Even if you did the ball would be in play and take a dozen strokes to get it out! You yourself said you hit a "wayward" drive! Suck it up, the ball was free, GIVEN to you! In no way was it stolen!

  Funny bit about these free Nikes. I play with a Legend that uses the free ones and after teeing off today he asks about how I like them. I gave my answer and we played on. A few holes later I asked him if he had tried the ones WGT gifted him. His response was "What?!".  LOL, he had no clue because when he plays he goes straight to the game and hadn't seen the e-mail yet. Needless to say, he couldn't get through the match fast enough to get to them.   :-D

  I would've never known about the free Nike balls if it weren't for Bollox starting this thread. : )

  For some reason I stopped getting WGT e-mails like I used too. You know the e-mails that remind us of weekly tournaments and any credits won or received through completing surveys. It's been quite a while too.
