I for one, dont want to see the likes of bollox and mrenn in twice as many as my RGs.

For sure, but it also depends on what "cycle" of RG you are in.

I/e I know ChrisIronBones plays the SA RG's (as do I), but I don't think we've ever been in the same one.

After you start your round and all 50 places are filled, you can see the leaderboard

You can also see it before starting your round.

Once the RG is filled with 50 players, go to the closed RG list (via the main tournament screen), and find the correctly numbered RG.  Click on "leaderboard".

NOTE: it won't have a red exclamation point next to it, like it does in the open RG list.  (which provides an interesting paradox -- your RG shows up in both the open and closed lists).

Really, does it matter for most once entered?

I mean we always try to shoot the lowest score.

    Hi Jerm,

this doesn't work for me. Even when filled, the red exclamation mark stay there and the ready go is still in the open section (not the closed section) but there are 50 player in it (at the 12 hours countdown has started).

As I wrote above, I don't care and prefer not to know the best score. But I was just curious to know how people access the leaderboard before posting a score, doesn't work for me.

    Regards

Maybe having it 12 hours gives WGT  time to sort them all out:),Open ,closed,, payouts ect ect

I think when you sign up, you should have to complete the round within say 2 hours.

If you can't play the round within that time, then don't sign up for that particular RG.

This has been addressed before.  Although a novel idea, is it feasible.  You are giving players no leeway for real life happenings.  Crying babies, wife wants nookie, etc!

2 hrs is way too short, maybe 6 hrs, but I for one, dont want to see the likes of bollox and mrenn in twice as many as my RGs.

    Just saying,

    b0gey

I like the idea of having to play after 6hrs.  Generally, I play within 1/2 hr or so after a warm up.  However the next ready go available should be 12 hours after its filled.   Gets other players a chance to play RG's without the top dogs.  I don't mind playing with BB, etc

Yes this is correct. make sure you are looking at the same RG number though on the closed list.

The thing I don't like about being able to see the leaderboard before you have finished your round is this.

Say I am in 10th place and have completed my round. Another player on the same score playing the last hole, has a difficult approach shot to the green. They can look at the leaderboard and see that a birdie on this hole will get them 200 credits because they will move into 10th place on their own.

So from their difficult approach shot where they might be tempted to play safe to preserve their score, they now know what their finishing position will be, depending on whether they get a par or birdie.

I know in real life pro golf, the scores are available to you on the leaderboard all the time, but if you follow that logic through, then the leadeboard should be available to everyone all the time regardless of how many players have entered.

I usually have entered and finished my RG round long before 50 players have entered, but there have been a few occassions when I am only starting my round and all places are filled that I have looked at the leaderboard to see what I need to score.
