On the real course I like to draw the ball. Here, hitting the meter early seems to be a pull shot. Is that correct or is it to be used as  an intended draw shot? Vica versa late, fade or push?

    hi

while some players do just that, it's very risky and really need alot of practice and hit controlled/precise shot. but, it does have it's rewards.

Good stuff Icon, but you didn't answer his question.

Yetyrant - my impression is you get the push/pull, not the fade/draw.

You guys are great for responding I'm new to this game, about 1 1/2 months, really enjoy it. On an actual course a draw is very effective where-as a pull is bad news. You know: the draw can start out straight and the curve left toward the pin where as the pull starts offline to the left and stays there.  Hope I'm being clear, I guess that hitting it early just causes a pull.  game may not have draw capability as yet. perhaps if we could move the dot on ball side to side this would allow us to impart the spin we use in real golf. Once again just want to say this game is the coolest, so much fun!

Icon didn't offer his impression, he went right to how to use it with a warning. Call it what you will but the effect of hitting early yields a draw-like result if you know what you're doing.

For experienced players this and the late hit (to simulate the fade) is a shot option that does get used in cases like BPB2 where you have to curl around the tree line to stay in the fairway (Legend tees.) It isn't a true draw/fade but your imagination and the result make it so. What makes it tricky is when you miss on the wrong side of the wind, you get some nasty results. That's where the knowing part comes in.  ;-)

just pulling the trigger early gives you more of a pull.... aiming well right AND hitting early yields more of a draw, imo

Agree totally, Leon, better said your way and  that's how you do it. But then, you're an experienced player.  ;-)

Nice little shot at #4 Congressional too.  (If the wind is bad ,  L to R.)

How do you play this? Do you aim right and then pull it against that wind or just pull it from the default aim?  Tx.

I aim in or right of the cart path...the sweet spot I found for me is when you go so far right , your  blue target line will try to  get too short. That's my spot ,  then I ding on the line to the left of the zone.  The one sitting out there by itself. If you get it a little early , it'll  duck hook hard , but if your on it or just a pixel or 2 past... it  flies just like a pretty little draw. , center cut fairway.  But , you know ,  it's a practice thing , but you'll find it.  Works good.
