diamond award for a 400 yard drive.... i mean you cant even crack the 300 mark with the best driver (280 with favorable wind for me ) so why even offer it?

Not sure about 400yards  but I often exceed 300 . Can't seem to crack the 325 yet.

But I know many players go further than that.  Not sure who holds the longest drive .  But I am sure someone will enlighten us.

Try the 9.50 taylormade driver. and perhaps balls that give that little extra. I see you are using the 10.5 degree loft.  with starter balls But be prepared for super quick speeds on the meter. tour-s balls will slow the meter down a bit. And there are other balls that will also do the same.

    Happy Golfin'

..and the only reason it is that long is because that's where the fairway runs out.  lol

My long drives ... 343 unrecorded on bethpage #6 .... matchplay so it didn't record

329 on i don't remember the hole  .... my longest award

342 on kiawah #1 ... hit a yardage marker and ran into rough ...

331 at beth #13 with a 20 mph tailwind ... if this one hadn't run                                                             into the rough it likely would have gone over 350 ....

But one that really blows me away is a drive by sannevw ... when she was a pro she hit one 321 yds on kiawah #3 from the pro tees with a tour pro driver ... she's got the silver long drive award and the replay to prove it ....

I sit at 349.   The 352 is possible but there is no more fairway after that. The 400 yrd award I would guess would be for yet to come clubs, courses and tees.

My favorite award is still diamond in the drink.....10 000.

I suspect that once St. Andrews is released with its extreme winds and long links fairways we will see driving distances increase.

It will be interesting.... there are no real big elevation changes there though, not like on BP #6....

um so i went and actually bought the most expensive driver and still only hit it in the high 270s on a good day (perfect hit with 12mph tailwind). i mean i need a 20+ mph tailwind to get even close to 300. i am not trying to say that you all are a bunch of cheaters, but i kinda do :D, not that it matters anyways. but honestly, how on earth do you hit 300+? thats a huge advantage, no wonder that a couple kids here shoot rounds of 60 on a regular basis and win one tournament after another. well thank god the real golf season starts soon again :) until then i keep practicing my virtual game i guess.

aldoregozani, You may have the most expensive driver, but you don't have the longest...  Check this out:

That's what a lot of the Masters use...  I just upgraded to the Tour Pro 9.5 a few days ago, which has an average of 245, and got one out to 284.  I can definitely see someone hitting well over 300 yds with the R9 Master.

    Good Luck...
