now i might be thick but, on the add a friend page someone posted visit his profile than click add him as a friend.You can't visit his profile if he is not already a friend......

yes you can visit anyone's profile, whether they are friend on not. just go to wgt community --> wgt players --> enter their username and flick on it once search finds it.
adding a friend requires a confirmation from the other party.
