Searched in forum, but didn't find anything.

If you look at PING Tour W 58° Wedge (L42+) and Tour W 60° Wedge (L60+) u can see that they have all the same data: distance, trajectory, precision, forgiveness, shot shaping, spin and meter speed, but the second costs 345 cr vs 200 ?!?! Someone knows the reason why? I rented them this week-end but I had no chance to note any difference. Maybe due to the short period of use. Tks, Bye.

This is where the stats can be very misleading, the L60 rocks.  It lands softer and spins a lot more.  I would also say it flies a good 5 yards longer depending on which ball you pair it up with.

You will also find it plays great out of tough lies.

You are right they look exactly the same (except the price and the level at which you unlock them). Strange... I guess there is some missing dots, but I do not know.

If I remember rightly when clubs changed from being unlocked by tier to how they are now unlocked by level, the level 60 wedges were unlocked by moving into the master tier, which was the top level. The level 42 wedges were unlocked by moving into the pro tier.

When they changed over to level unlocked they stayed separated.

My guess as to why is might stop quicker is because it is 60 degrees rather than 58 degrees, meaning it would fly slightly higher therefore stopping slightly quicker.

I had the same thought, but this doesn't justify the difference in price, I think.?! The post of WGTicon demonstrates that there is something wrong. Waiting for his response.

    Tks, bye

The difference in price is surely because they are different wedges. Do they have the same attributes? Yes they do. But 1 wedge is 58degrees and 1 is 60degrees.

It's because one is a 58 degree wedge and one is a 60 degree! The level 14 85 yd wedge has better stats than the lvl 60 but it acts differently BECAUSE it's a different type of wedge. If a 3 wood and a driver have all the same stats, does that mean that they will react exactly the same way? no because they are different clubs! If you have a 58 degree wedge that goes the same distance as a 60 degree wedge, the 60 degree would have an advantage! WGT got it right here because if I have a 60 that goes as far as my 56, my 56 is going in the trash because the 60 is going to preform much better.

Could u please explain better this fact? I've never played real golf, so I don't know how does it run. Which could it be the advantage of the different degree, if all the data declared are the same?!?! I noted that also 52 and 54 have same data except for distance that is 105 and 100, at least.

If what you write is correct, why WGTicon wrote that wanted to check into the matter?

The degree of a club relates to the angle of the club face. Zero degrees is straight up and down. 90 degrees would be horizontal, or flat. The higher the degree, the higher the loft.

Generally, the higher the loft, the easier it lands on the green. It comes down at a steeper angle and wouldn't roll as much as a lower lofted club that comes in flatter and would tend to roll.
