driver vs 3 wood

  my drives go 225 235 and just hit a 3 wood @ 3/4 strenght and it went 240 this game is out of whack.

  You have to allow for the wind as you do in real golf. A tail wind will take your ball further as a head will pull it up.

  Spin affects the shot as well but your balls don't have any so it doesn't matter at this point in time.

  On what hole, what was the wind, how much distance was on the green. On some holes your ball will go a long way, ie 5th a St andrews

  Yeah, I just hit a 243yd 3 wood @ Royal St Georges with a 21 MPH tailwind....set me up for my first ever Eagle......almost.....:)
