  Everyone always says to me " Thanks Bootsie for spending the time scoring a tournament" and most the time they ask what they can do for me and I say ... just go have fun !

  Today, I need a favor. We have a player who is a bit ill and so Saturday we are all going to be playing a game for that player ......... So if you can take a minute please just go leave an encouraging word and then find any game to play Saturday for him.......

  In Splatsville:

  hehe,... it was a little diff.  Legends splat our point man and Mags retaliates providing cover and their first splat.  While recovering our wounded from the battlefield Legends splat another of the Mag Infantry.  Dan3Bro finds a Legend sniping in the bushes.  Both empty their clips at one another and after 9 are all square.  They square off in 5 holes of hand to hand combat.....Mags' Dan3Bro finds an unspent pellet on the ground, picks it up, and splats his Legend foe on the forehead.  1 up after 14 holes!

  Well, our Lieutenant stood tall against the barrage of rapid fire and took a splat protecting the medics (with paint remover) tending to our wounded.  We may have lost a valued soldier and leader but the troops are inspired by his bravery and uncommon valor.

  Gunnery Sargent Bry, back after a tour at sea, takes early damage in his round and fights his way into a playoff and on the 2nd hole he lay vanquished. 

  Good shooting both and glad to have ya back Bry.  The Mag' 7 are standing tall at 2 with with one to play.  The hopes for a prosperous future now lay in the gun sights of 100plus as he prepares to face the ultimate jedi master in Yoda.  May the force be with you 100plus.....always

  Bossman 100plus forgot his helmet and took one on the noggin by the Master Jedi.

  Splaaaated.

  Mag 7 are now done with round 1 with two pissin in their pants infantrymen.

  Great fun, great times......and every player said they made a new friend and enjoyed their games with their foes.

  And a interesting game it was. We both were missing our ding left and right. Mostly left though. lol.....I managed to take the first lead and increased that lead to 2 after 4 holes. 100plus battled back just as I thought he might. He brought it back to a 1 hole advantage on the 6th. Having a 1 hole lead with 3 holes to play, with the caliber of player that 100plus is, is a very nervous situation to handle. Knowing that at any time he could hit a spectacular shot that could tie the game. But it stayed 1up till the 9th! He tee'd off first and found the bunker on the left side. And what do you know, I basically did the same thing! Both put our second shots in the fairway. Then his third was a beauty! Landed 4ft away. I needed to make sure I hit the green and stayed on it. I did so but was about 8ft away. Needing that putt to drop to end the game.......and it does! So the Jedi Master holds on for the win! 100plus played a great game. And for the record we played an Alt shot game a bit later and he wiped the green with me and my partner. An excellent player he is. Looking forward to the next round of games! The Legends of the U.N. are ready!!

  So with the final game being played the Legends of the U.N. are standing tough! We have two fallen comrades that have transformed into the force. They will be with us in future battles. The force is strong on the team. With our combined knowledge of the force we are a force to be reckoned with. We will take this time to meditate and hone our skills with a lightsa.....errr...paintball gun. I do sense a tremor in the force. Round 2 will prove to be more difficult than the previous round, (No disrespect to the Magnificent 7)  but we will be ready! And to all other competitors we as a team have this to say.......Bring It On!!! lol
