After trying this a few dozen times or so I can say that it will be done. The method that Sgt Doodles used will work, the key is to get the ball in that position, which after a little practice you can do with your second shot. I have hit 3 shots from there that all got on the green, none as close as his but 2 of them within 20 feet so someone will get lucky.
I tried it several times from in front of the green and most of those putts came directly back at me, only got one of them across the burn. I think I might wait until tomorrow to try because you guys will probably have the burn full of new Nikes by then and I can just putt over them easily.
One tip for everyone, don't forget to change your balls back when you start to play again, these starter balls are tough to get used too.
