  can your lie (uphill / sidehill) affect the direction of your shot?

  right now, no for the most part. there are some places where lie would prevent a straight shot from flying, such as edge of bunker and so on, but it's rare

  Put simply, no. The only two major factors which currently affect the ball flight is the wind and whether the green is above or below you. The ball trajectory into an uphill green will be flatter and release more whereas a downhill green will offer a higher ball flight and greater spin.

  Lies lies and more lies.

  The best ones are those which are true, you don't have to remember too much then.

  Anyway, if you do it too many times, your tongue can often split, and all the little doggies, will have a little bit.

  That or your pants will catch fire.

  Personally, I advise caution due to the inconvenience you are likely to experience in any of the above situations.

  I first read that word as incontinence... all the more reason to get those burning pants off.
