  hi crazyman, just thought I'd mention, tried to sign up with GS but it kept saying Field Required opposite Existing Member of GS?

  Well, obviously I'm not, otherwise how can I apply if already a member?  So I put No. Guess what: Field Required.  Dang! OK, in frustration I eventually hit Yes - and it processed, or rather said OK, you'll be hearing.  Which I haven't yet. OK let's see what happens, but it's pretty dumb if you have to say yes when you mean no.  Or have I missed something???

  This is to allow for another season year in 2011 to consist of five seasons

  The comps we will play during the winter season are as follows

  THERE WILL BE A BREAK FROM ALL Winter season (5) games shown below during the period Dec 20th - Dec 27th to allow for xmas.

  MULTI PLAY (all full hcap allowance)
  

  Stableford League Dec 6th 2010 - Jan 31st 2011 (all 7 games/scores count) (18 holes)

  GS Medals Dec 6th - Jan 31st ( 5 out of 7 scores count) (18 holes)

  Winter Cup Dec 6th - Jan 31st (6 out of 7 scores count) (18 holes)

  The above games are all stableford based and require scorecard saving and uploading.

  Just to add another dimension for the new "mini season"  we will also be playing the newly formed PUTTING LEAGUE... this league  will run for 7 weeks and consist of 14 games. Further details are on the GS site. 

  This should be interesting !!!

  So much for a shortened "mini season" !  We will have 6 regular seasonal comps running in various formats  and all 6 of them are full handicap allowances. (including the cc events)   Sorry but no handicaps  on the new Putting league"  

  We kick off on Monday  -  so  along with the 24 xmas advent calendar comps and the champ of champs KO   it looks like a busy time leading up to xmas.

  Hey Crazyman, I guess I am still out since I haven't heard from you. Wish it could have worked out.  I loved the GS site, had some great times, hopefully someday we can be friends again. I've done all I can do, I really hoped the past was water under the bridge. Good luck!

  Sorry  Doodles  it is a club competition that requires membership to both GS at its Exclusive CC"   Doors are closed until next season    We are a club that operates a "official & proper" handicap system as used by PGA affliated golf clubs worldwide. Membership needs to be in place at the start of a season and players need to be active in both sections (GS seasonal comps and CC comps). Doors will open again next year for a two week period  to enable applications.

  MEMBERS:

  Brand new comp appearing for members  .  Strokeplay/Matchplay Combination with Handicaps (in strokeplay section) Strokeplay based on a round robin group tournament followed by a straight Knockout for the players progressing from the round robin  See site for details of this unique concept.  and sign up using the comp registration form to get your names down .

  Just a note to say that the xmas advent calendar events have so far seen 9 winners from 11 comps  ( 2 players so far have won 2 games)   A total of over 4,000 wgt credits won  There are 1000's more wgt credits  up for grabs  up till  xmas eve. (Look out for the xmas eve one especially)  So good luck.

  The Champ of Champs is now down to the Quarter Final stage with some interesting battles ahead.  Having lost the number one seed, it is by no means a foregone conclusion. 

  Xmas period : 

  Please note  there are no fixtures (in case you were wondering why you dont see then on your fixture lists) for the period 20th- 27th Dec.  The Champ of Champs, The new combo comp and The Xmas advent calendar will continue  but all the other SIX seasonal leagues/comps  will cease during that time and start again on 28th Dec. There will  be at least 20 CC comps to play during this xmas break  so youi will still have plenty to keep you occupied during the festive period.
