  Hi

  after 255, weird things start to happen to the friend list (you won't be able to see all of them and few other things). but, i have seen accounts with 1000+ friends, so as far as that goes, it should not be an issue.

  I believe what icon may be eluding to here is that the more friends you have . . . the worse your meter may become. If you check out the top players, they have very few friends. This is because every time one of your friends changes their status ie ready, available, busy etc it causes the meter to jump. Don't think it's been conclusively proven yet . . . but should be taken into consideration . . .
