GrindHouse:
I've only been playing for a couple of weeks and my ability to hit the sweet spot is, to say the least, inconsistent. I'm thinking that part of the problem might be that my Ping driver and woods have pretty slow meter speeds, while my taylormade irons have pretty quick meter speeds. Should i admit that I spent money unwisely and spend more to get as much of my equipment as possible at the same meter speed?
It's always best to have the same speed with all your clubs. With my R11's, the 3wood has a slower meter than the rest of em, so I have to be cafeful when swinging.
One thing you can do is... When you have an Iron Shot after hitting your woods, have a practice swing... Start your shot to the end of meter as usual, then take you finger away and let the meter run off the end... you have a practice swing with no penelty.. This way you can see the faster meter going, so you can get use the speed between the clubs.
Also you don't have to ding to be a good shot, but that's another story
Good Luck
