Not to be rude but this question is old hat. You can find what you're looking for in older threads. If truly a beginner they should learn how to use the standard issue then consider upgrading. I'm sure that with your experience you are more than qualified to give an appropriate answer to this question as you most likely know more about this persons skill level than anyone posting a response.
