I don't think the post is unkind, though it may have a second meaning. This game can be learnt fast with enough motivation and practice. When I started, I couldn't tell the difference between fringe, fairway and rough(I once putted a ball from the fairway in an alternate game!!!! Guess my partner wanted to kill me) I haven't ever taken a club in my hands in real life. I didn't know the rules but liked the game after I saw a match on TV, around 2008 and saw Tiger Woods amazing shots. I play by feel, no charts, no numbers, add here, take there. Played a lot of alternate with friends and unknown(Over 2000 games, more than half 18 holes) I work 12 hours night shifts (don't have much to do most of the time) and the game makes time fly. I am already at Level 95 in less than a year and my average is not bad. You just need to play and practice, and luck sometimes.

    Oskydude:
I think if you can read the green and hit the ding you're going to excel here

Excellent first post Sir!  (if you'll excuse the minor edit?)

I'm like Soyel1, I use nothing except the mouse and my memory(or what's left of it). At my current level and tier, missing the ding at all means disaster. The greens to me, seem to change from game to game. Probably just me, but when you play a round at BPB, or any course for that matter, the greens should be the same. I don't mean on different courses, say you play 9 at SA, greens react to the ,8 for tourney speed, you play again and all putts come up short using the same calculations. Sure can make you shake your head. I tested this theory by playing Kia. back 9,  5 times in a row. The putts reacted different on all 5 games. I see no way to predict this and adjust for it, the ones who shoot sub 30 every game, are just damn good, all I have to say.

Hi all, thank you for your feedback.Just to clarify..I was not referring to the wall post as he is one of my friends and his comments were genuine.I was referring to  an in game conversation.I must say that I work as a gaming content creator IRL..so I am pretty handy with a mouse : ) .My work requires high end comptuer specs and a fast  internet connection...I dont know if it helps anyone but for what it's worth I also  use a well known graphics tablet brand (W) with the dedicated mouse, I find it a lot more responsive and accurate..the buttons are very firm compared to the other mice which I find 'clumsy'.I met a player the other day who only uses the touch pad and buttons on his laptop..and he was very good so each to their own.

    thanks again

    good hitting and enjoy
