    Hi,

I have only been playing ths game for a month or so.I love it! I am addicted!I have approached it as I do with most things..all or nothing.I broke my Hamate bone in my wrist playing  golf  IRL just prior to Christmas so WGT was a great way stay off the course and still get a dose of ball and stick.Tonight I was accused of cheating...by a player who's average was about 13 shots OVER mine( he whipped my butt,in a practise match play round).I take pride in my average and I challenge myself to  birdie every hoie.I think my average reflects a sandbagger in reverse, tbh I'd prefer to play higher ranked players as you tend to learn more.

Sure,my average is lower than it should be(prolly about 4-6-8 under is more likely) but since migrating to master I have had to learn course management and other courses, new clubs etc..and am  doing alot more practise rounds.

Tonight was only the third time I have experienced a really negative opponent, generally I  have found other players friendly and helpful.

How can I be called a cheat when i shoot over my average, and lose credits..what benifit has it to me??

    Hi, Jon

Sorry about your wrist. There's another guy here that just broke his right hand/wrist and had to switch to playing left handed for a while but it sounds like your clicker is still working. :-)

Part of the problem that set your op off was the short time you've been here vs the low average. That has all the earmarks of someone gaming the system and not tiering up so as to prey on others in the same tier. In your case, you don't play as many ranked rounds as you do blitz and CTTPs so you get better but your average doesn't go up. Only ranked rounds change your average and that is turning out to be a red flag for some.

The best thing you can do is play ranked rounds and get out of that Master tier. This would fit your desire anyway so start regularly posting those ranked round scores (the weeklies are easy to work in) and move up.

Don't sweat the paranoid jerk you ran into.  GL

Dont worry about it, i was playing a skins match 2 days ago, i was playing pathetically for first 4 holes, meter was awful and other 2 players were drawing the holes, i re-start & clear cache, when game resumes next hole meter is smooth again, i eagle, win 5 skins, and then birdie next hole, get a 60 yard holed eagle on next, win more skins, then get accused of loading a cheat machine because after re-booting i was on fire, it wasn't me playing well due to smooth meter, oh no that was Bull 5hit my opponent said, it was the "MACHINE" doing the work.  I just told the guy to look at his score history, then look at mine, that is just a normal round for me.  People just resort to calling you cheat as they dont like loosing & cant understand that there IS BETTER players than themselves!

You may want to remove the losers post from your wall.

Bugs the crap of me. Seems to be OK around here, you are not allowed to play practice rounds, match play, or ctth. You must only play ranked rounds as they are the only ones that get posted to your profile so self prescribed Columbo's can analyse and make accusations.

You see if you start by playing up and down the fairway at 10 and 11 at Bethpage and charting all your clubs and their distances and spins etc, and play 1rst green at SA for practice putting, all along reading the great tips and charts provided by generous players on the forums here along with some experience with the meter and putting breaks and winds from other Golf games, In addition getting the best equipment and balls you can indeed get pretty good pretty quick.

But there are far to many self prescribed experts here ready to throw around accusations, mostly because they honed their skills differently and inefficiently  then some others.

I get it, to get a feel for this game it would and should take a long time, but there is a short cut till a feel can be ingrained, and it's based in math, just like the real tour pro's, many do not play by feel, every aspect of their game, club distances and swing etc has been charted.

Luckily WGT recognizes the side their bread is buttered, and serious golfers wanting to learn this game quick tend to spend big dollars doing so.

Take care and have fun and try and ignore the columbo's out there.

Yes you are, in fact you had to mention you are "Legend" and again made reference to the limited information provided in my profile, like you are some sort of columbo.

The profile does not indicate how many hours i spent reading, charting and practicing, nor does it provide any reference to the equipment benefits. In fact compared to the amount of activity that can occur on this site, the information is extremely limited.

And in fact, looking at the various tournaments and ready goes it seems there are plenty of people who get on here and do well quickly,so your reference to "nobody" is clearly and completely false.

Your accusations, as well as others, are groundless and based more on masculinity in an attempt to convince yourself and others you are better than everyone else and no one could accomplish what you have done in a shorter period of time.

Contrary to popular believe, playing ranked rounds is a completely inefficient method to learn this particular game.

I agree, I'm doing well, but so what, so are plenty of others, who perhaps choose to learn this this efficiently and max out the equipment benefits.

Finally,  your own history seems to show a rather quick learning curve, are you suggesting no one else can accomplish what you have.

And finally and only because i find this irritating as heck.

We are clicking a mouse when the bar hits a little line man, not doing brain surgery.

It seems strange to me that the unkind wall post on the OP's wall was made by 1 of his friends.

Not looking to get into 'it', if people checked out my stats it looks like I'm upto no good. I expect my recent hiatus for a month was due to someones unfounded accusations...

I'm new to this site, been playing for about a month and now have a 70.+ average.  I spent money on clubs and balls to improve.  The one thing I did bring to this game tho was 18 years of playing Links from Links 386 to Links 2003.  The concept is exactly the same altho WGT is much better graphically and truer in the putting.

My frustration is hitting the ding, something that was a no-brainer in Links is almost impossible for me here otherwise I'd be a low 60s average.

I think if you can read the green and hit the ding you're going to excel here, no matter how much time and practice you put in...my two cents worth.

LMAO: im not here to be a *** but when i stated im a legend thats saying i went through all the tiers an an bs to get where im now!!!

More power to ya if u r legit, but if that is the case quit being a sandbagger an tier up an i dont want to here max out equipment benefits cause u can still use them as you tier up an still play well,,,,, I had the K15's an they got me all the way to tour master!!!!!!!!!

An as for me it got easyer for me in tour master tier because of the green speeds i seem to play much beter on them but as for moving up fast no took me a long time to get where i am now!!!!!!!

Well i sure hope you r not 1 of them with a new account an ill be the first to tell you in sry if im wrong (BUT YOU GOT TO UNDERSTAND WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH CHEATERS AN ALL KINDA BS ON HERE ITS DRIVING ME NUTS)

WITH ALL THE MONEY I HAVE INVESTED IN TO THIS GAME YES I WILL BE THE FIRST TO QUESTION SOMTHING THAT STANDS OUT AN LOOK IN TO IT!!!!!!!!!!

all i wont is it to be fair for all!!!! I lose every day to someone so thats not the case either i dont mind losing its all part of golf but as long as they r legit.......

WELL I AM HAPPY FOR YA  IF U R LEGIT IF I WERE U MOVE UP TO MASTER TOUR MASTER AN STAY TELL U CAN GET LEGEND CLUBS
