I have a random question related to putting. a few weeks back I upgraded to spider (level 36 or whatever the low level is) and my putting has went downhill from the starter putter.
My question is, when folks putt, do they normally move the arrow from the hole over left or right to sink the putt on a slope, or do folks normally use the putter guage by going left or right of the "ding" line to sink putts on a slope?
I always have, since day 1, use the ding method. I keep the arrow direct on the hole, then just go left or right of the excellent mark (ding) depending on the slope and it was super easy with starter, but with spider, its a lot harder to do that way until you get much much practice with it.
