  Can someone please explain to me why you can only go from pro->tour pro->master-> etc through ranked games?

  Just today I played a SKINS game against a tourpro level 80 (!) and a tourpro level 76(!). Had a lot off fun watching the 320yrds drives from the front tees!

  Wouldn't it be a great idea to rank up players based on the levels they have. Surely the levels indicate how much and how long someone played right?

  If you search in the forums (the box over there ---->   [try level/s, tier/s, sandbagging, etc.]) you will find approximately 9.8 billion posts addressing this... 

  There's a bunch right now, including a thread called "Level 80 Pros" in WGT Beta.

  I'm at level 84 and an average 67.4 and can't move my average .. I have played some really good games scoring 3and 4 under par and have'nt been able to move my average.....This has been going on for weeks now ..WTH WGT... I play masters and beat them and notice that there Stats are at level 47 on and a much lower average..... What am I doing wrong???/ I've even been accused of cheating!!!

  suggestion check their stats before match or skin challenges for credits

  That is true.

  But, my feeling is there are two types of players here, those who found the game because we play golf, and those who just play games.

  The IRL golfers know that Golf is a sport of integrity, sure, IRL on muni course you'll see a footwedge or two, but that's the exception not the rule.

  I've read that post you mention and it's a lot about cheating etc. That's not my point :-)

  I'm not accusing anybody. It's just that I don't understand why the skills of the players are only determined through ranked strokeplay and not by every round they play.
