Hey Everyone, The responses, and help I received before, brings me back for more... I am now still a Pro, 74.8 avg., I have the 52, and 64 degree z satin wedges, and starter irons. Now I have the starter putter, and the Tour Pro driver. My question is, driver upgrade, or new putter? ( I was looking at the Daytona putter lvl 52 I think ) Can only get one, or the other right now.. As always any help is appreciated. Thanks

For you I'd recommend the lvl 47 Rapture 9.5 driver, and when lvl 55 is made, buy the Daytona putter, my favorite club. Really tho', some better irons would make the most difference, although my preference there has been taken out and changed to the G20's which are spendy but have the high trajectory, a major factor in stopping the ball on the green. (Also not available until lvl 59) Also try some of  the better WGT balls, unless the unlimited balls suit you.

Another logical upgrade would be a 3WD, giving you longer shots from the fairways & thus shorter approaches on the long holes.

I have the lvl 47 Ping Rapture 3WD as the only custom club & I like it!

Better balls are good for the backspin with the wedges if you have enough crs to buy them - they wear and get lost.

Since you can only get one, get the putter. You could keep it forever, whereas any driver you get now will likely be replaced; they get better as you level up, but many top players still use the Rossa. Plus, it's the club you use the most -- by far.

    OK, my .02 again.

Have you seen a pattern here? Since about 50% of your shots will be made from less than 100 yds, most people are telling you to get better clubs for the short game.

I agree with the putter, and the Rossa is what I use. But I will not tell anyone what putter to buy. It's the club that is the most personal choice you will make. I would wait until you get to the Rossa's level, then rent the 3-4 that you feel would suit you best from the reviews. Then buy the one you like the best.

Then save your credits until you can get the G-20's, and buy them. They will last you until Legend, at that time you will have to decide if the faster meter on the R-11's are worth the trade off.

If you would like to try some balls, I used the 63 credit tour-s balls until I got my Burner 2.0 irons, then I needed balls that would slow the meter down. But even the 10 credit -s balls would help you control the spin on your wedges.

    GL, on your quest.

    Driver ...shorten your approaches.

Personally Idk about anyone else but I could not WAIT to ditch that pizz poor bladed starter putter. I know ,I know, now I'm gonna get every wgt starter putter Legend/guru busting my chops here.

But seriously, I bought the TM 'Spider" at your level & now I can't even putt with the damn Rossa!I can't keep the putts from squirting all around the hole. That Rossa is going to take me forever to get used to. Maybe because I fired 500 ranked rounds with the Spider? I don't know...

So I guess I am saying, whatever putter you pick and get used to, will probably be your friend for life.  Also between 52 & 64 degree wedge's, there's quite a gap there pal.

    Just my thoughts: Jeff

Shorten approaches from the pro tees? Just gonna have to get a new driver for the master tees.
