Is there a way to get bonus distance off the tee? Often when Im playing with other people they outdrive me with comparable or inferior equipment even if I hit the pinger.

Replace your present ball with a  level 47 or 48 nike ball...

hit them between the legs with your driver when they're taking their swing, bet you their ball wont go very far!

With the driver you have and the ball you are using you will get about 240-250 max distance in normal conditions.

Try using the srixon zstar XV. SHOULD give you another 10 yds or so and also slow your meter a touch as well. They are not bad at 200 credits and will also give you a bit of spin. They last a bit longer as well.

If you have the credits to spend then go with the Nike as the above post says. But if you have the credits to spend I would suggest you upgrade your Driver.

Yes, but you have to be careful doing it and it's not always a good thing to do.  Try to get the ball flying in the same direction as the wind. This requires over aiming against the wind and then intentionally hitting WITH the wind.

Picture a 10 mph wind heading at 10 o'clock. Normally you would aim a little right of your target and try to ding the shot. Knowing that when you miss on the wrong side of the wind you get an immediate effect from it, aim more right than you normally would and hit the shot before the ding (pull it.) The combination of the wind and the deviation from the missed hit will get that ball soaring.  :-)

After you hit, take 3 strides backwards off the tee.

That's almost 10 feet right there;)

Yankeejim is spot on. You will get your longest drives this way. But like he said, very dangerous. I almost always add some backspin to my drives. If I have a strong headwind, I add all top spin to my drive unless it is uphill. It takes some practice to figure out what is best for what conditions and the equipment you are using. If you were to play another person with the exact equipment and used totally different technique, your distance would fare pretty close for the most part. Unless one of you totally missed to the wrong side of the wind. Hitting farthest is not always best either. Hope this helps a bit.

Top spin off the tee is underrated, IMO, even in helping winds. Carry is a good thing with the driver but at RSG and SA, with those insane up and down fairways, top spin on your driver gets the ball rolling like a big dog after landing. This is where driver accuracy will help a lot because if you're careful about examining where the drive will land you can play for some nice long rolls.
