  You can't just open the box, plug it in and take off here. There's stuff going on that you don't know about and your meter is definitely going to suffer. You don't have to be a computer whiz to set your new computer up either. There's a thread about doing just his and I will go see if I can find it.  BRB.  ;-)

  did you tune your computer? there are many threads with details how to close out services, limit intrusive anti viruses, etc.
